If you wish to contact me about having an introductory lesson there are two ways to do this:
1. You can phone me on: 07821 206585
2. You can e-mail me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
I am always willing to return your call or e-mail and discuss the Technique with you.
A free introductory demonstration can be arranged on events days, which normally occur on a monthly basis. Dates of these will be posted on the website. Please phone to arrange a time.
Introductory talks and one-day workshops can be arranged for companies or groups. The cost of this will vary depending on length of time and numbers attending. This is the only time when I work with groups and is not a substitute or a short-cut to learning the Alexander Technique.
Home lessons are also available, though this does involve an extra charge to cover transport costs.
How many lessons?
After the introductory lesson a course of lessons can be booked. Most people take around thirty sessions to fully learn the Technique. Initially, it is best to have two or three lessons a week. However, often time, money and personal circumstances make this impossible, so it may be that some people will manage only once a week. Although not ideal, pupils who follow this course do nevertheless learn it. It just takes more time to achieve the standard of ‘use’ necessary to gain the benefits.
I never require payment in advance and pupils pay on a lesson-by-lesson basis.
At present I charge £30 for a forty-minute lesson. The introductory lesson costs the same but has a slightly longer duration.
